rtant EU debates On 23 May\, Sandro Gozi will represent the Renew Europe N
ow platform in the Eurovision debate with other lead candidates for the Eu
ropean elections. The debate\, which follows the Bruegel-Financial Times d
ebate held on 21 May and the Maastricht Debate held on 29 April\, will tak
e place in the hemicycle of the European Parliament in Brussels from 15:00
– 16:45. Organised by the European Broadcasting Union\, this is the fin
al debate in the lead-up to the European elections due to take place acros
s all EU Member States on 6-9 June. Participants will be quizzed on six ma
in topics of economy and jobs\; defence and security\; climate and environ
ment\; democracy and leadership\; migration and borders\; and innovation a
nd technology. The five participants are:Walter Baier (Party of the Europe
an Left)Sandro Gozi (Renew Europe Now)Terry Reintke (European Greens)Nicol
as Schmit (Party of European Socialists)Ursula von der Leyen (European Peo
ple’s Party) We will be hosting a watch party at ALDE Party HQ (Rue d'Id
alie 11\, 1050 Brussels) from 2:30pm until after the debate. Register now
